Best headers for a 1999 Chevrolet Camaro (V6 3.8 3800 series II)?

I have a 1999 Camaro. I know it’s a V6, but I will get a V8 in the future. Right now I have a hiflow cat converter, catback, flowmaster muffler, dual exhausts, and the car sounds great for a V6.
I am in the process of installing a cold air intake.
My last plan to make the car sound really loud and perform great will be a set of headers.
Which headers are recommended for this car that will make it extremely loud?
How much do they cost(pair)?
How much does it cost to have them installed?
How long does it take for them to be installed?
Do you recommend big named car shops like Strauss, Menikie, or go to smaller named shops?
Will the headers adversely affect the life of the car/engine? Is it safe basically?
any reputeable pro shop can install headers, and if they are shorties, i estimate 1/2 day labor. longtubes make more power gains, but are more expensive -more difficult to install….overall your decision in terms of budget (for me-unless i was planning a supercharger i would go with shorties)

headers will not effect the life or dependability of your engine in any way.
they are a great installation for getting power to the wheels, but do not expect they will add a lot more “loudness” to your exhaust sound.
(if you want real loud you have to do electric exhaust cutouts after the manifolds-before the cats, operate from inside the car, open, really loud, closed-fully legal and normal exhaust system….if you want to have a look

and if you want to see what they sound like -how they operate just get on you tube, lots -lots of clips on “exhaust cutouts”)
….with your set up (exhaust system, headers, if you install a cold air intake, and a tuner chip…you will be substantially quicker and it will pull all of your modifications together into a performance package (intake-exhaust-engine management system)
