How do I change the oil filter automatic transmission in a 2006 Hyundai Tiburon?
I have a hyundai tiburon 2006 and I can not find where the transmission oil filter is. Also any pictures would be useful, and a description of where you are in my car. Thanks I bought one for an auto parts store, maybe its not transmission, something else with a "T" I'm just the messenger. I know it's some kind of filter oil, but not ordinary
The filter is "inside" the transmission and can not be repaired. You have to get a color to get it cleaned. Its supposed to be not altered, as this will invalidate the warranty. If you are not having problems with your transmission will not touch it. Just remember to change your fluid in 30,000 miles Hyundai / Kia (SP 3) of liquids. I know this goes for my Elantra but check with your dealer to see if this is also the case for Tib. I'm pretty sure it's the same thing.
