Where I can find an engine of four liters 6cylinder a 93 YJ Jeep Wrangler?
I own a Jeep Wrangler 93 and I would like to exchange my 4 cylinder 2.5 liter engine capacity of not less than 4 liters 6 cylinder. I have not the power I'm looking at my current engine and the need for something bigger before I go to Missouri in August. I will also need to know if I'll have to change my tranny too. I will be more than happy to help those who have time to install the engine. I have schooling auto mechanics, but none of the hands on training. I'm living in Denver and would like to find a local place to take over paying for shipping charges
Ebay is a good solution, but better can be your local junk yard. Expect to pay about $ 100 for a short block and $ 150 for a block long. junk yards have forklift motor available for rent for around $ 5.
